Azaleas need a good feeding of fertilizer after the first bloom in early spring. We recommend Nitrophos. Remember that many azaleas need feeding all through the summer. The last feeding should be in early August to prevent too many young tender shoots to grow and be vulnerable to winter freeze.
Bring your soil in for testing and we can tell you if your azaleas are getting what they need and recommend any amendments that can help them flourish.
